Shoreditch Unbound for Art Against Knives

I just signed 30 limited edition copies of this lovely coffee table book, all of which will be auctioned off for 'Art Against Knives' this month.   Shoreditch Unbound kindly chose some of my favourite images of Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Rosamund Pike & Carla Bruni within the 8 page portfolio and interview piece.  I'm really thrilled I was able to take part.

I LOVE... Kids Company's Comedy Night

 

Last night was the 3rd Kids Company Comedy Night at the Comedy Store. Over 300 people showed up to have a wee giggle on a Monday night and see a range of acts.  My personal favourite was Ed Byrne who was understated and hilarious.  All hands went in pockets after Camila Batmanghelidjh spoke and inspired us all to further help support this very important cause.  5 stars & two thumbs up from me! 

Macmillan Exhibition @ Spitalfields Market this Saturday

 

As a part of Macmillan's Big Mix event, they recently approached me to create a set of images that captured the essence of the people behind the scenes at Macmillan Cancer Support.  Throughout this process, I was able to meet everyone from hair specialists that advise cancer patients about one of the most stressful side-effects of treatment to crazy fundraisers on a mission & people who dedicate their working lives to taking care of the physical & emotion issues related to cancer.  

Personally, I found this project incredibly inspiring & I am honestly in awe of what these people so on a day-to-day basis.

 

The music, art & culture event is open from midday - 8:30pm this Saturday 18th June at Spitalfields Market, E1.  Feel good factor guaranteed.

Last night was the closing dinner for the show 'Powder Train' at Cielo in New Burlington Street & I'm so pleased to say that we raised over £4,000 for Kids Company!   18 months in the making, Karl Anthoney and I collaborated on each of the art pieces, a combination of photography and art with a range of talented peeps within the arts as our subjects.    

 

 

A few edition prints are still available on www.antandco.com will all proceeds going to Kids Company
